WAFI Tower – Dubai, UAE. We were commissioned by the owner to develop a preparation, priming and gilding system for the anodized aluminum roof atop the new 60 story tall building.
Working on stage scaffolding, over 7,000 square feet of surface was prepared, primed and gilded with 23.75KT gold leaf, custom manufactured to our specification by by Giusto Manetti Battiloro of Florence, Italy. This is the largest exterior gilding installation in the region.
