Arlington National Cemetery
Finish shown: 23.75 Gold leaf
Arlington, VA – We were commissioned to prepare and gild two separate installations with 23.75KT gold leaf. The McClellan Gate, dating from 1871, was the original entrance to the cemetery. Made of Seneca Sandstone, it required stripping, priming and complete re-gilding. The other commission consisted of 4 new bronze shield medallions affixed to the gates leading from Ft. Myer into the Cemetery.
