In 2000 we were commissioned to perform the paint conservation on Red Grooms’ iconic piece. Using catalyzed acrylic urethanes in more than 30 colors, we coordinated with the artist to recreate the figurative painting on the piece to match the original design. In 2018, after 18 years exposure to the elements, we were again commissioned to restore the piece.
