Gilding has a reputation for longevity in exterior and interior applications. No other finish provides the enduring beauty of genuine gold leaf. For interior applications, we provide an overwhelming selection of metal leaf and toned finishes.

All karats from 12KT to 24KT. Gold leaf comes in a variety of alloys, which include different metals to produce a diversity of colors.
Note: Only 23 through 24 karat gold may be used for interior or exterior surfaces. All others should be used for interior only and may require a protective coating to reduce oxidation.

Genuine gold leaf lends itself well to custom designed, embossed patterns. These can be applied to any surface gilded with genuine gold leaf. Typically these consist of geometric patterns, lettering, botanicals or virtually any design of your choice.

Aluminum leaf is an excellent substitute for silver Although aluminum leaf does not tarnish, it does oxidize. Clear coatings are recommended.

Silver leaf is available in many different colors. These include tinted Japanese silver leaf in several unique shades, as well as oxidized silver leaf. Clear coatings are recommended.

Imitation gold leaf, sometimes referred to as “Dutch metal” or composition leaf, is comprised of copper and zinc. It produces an appearance similar to that of gold leaf. Imitation gold is available in four shades. Clear coatings are recommended.

Also, we are happy to produce larger custom samples for your next project. 12” x 12” samples (@300mm square)  start at $75.00 each for Imitation Gold Leaf, Copper and Aluminum. Any of the silver or genuine gold leaf alloys start at $150 each.
