DraggingTechnique used to produce a stria like pattern. When used with proper colors and intensity it can resemble woodgrain, raw silks and other linear designs. SpongingA technique which produces a cloudy, speckled finish that can soften or emphasize the features and outlines of moldings, walls and furniture. Ragging and Rag RollingRagging involves the application or extraction of glaze with rags to produce several effects which include: leather, parchment, and many others. StipplingA technique used to aid in many glazed finish processes. A popular finish created by stippling is sandstone SpatterA technique that involves spattering wet glaze into wet glaze that produces a granular-like finish. When used with other techniques results can simulate faux granite and stone.
